Supremus

Supremus is considered an excellent tasting experience. It is the latest masterpiece, as well as the maximum expression of research and experience, of two Masters of Tuscan wines: Franco Bernabei and Neil Empson. Launched in 2009, it had actually been in development for over thirty years. Its creators, Neil and Maria Empson, began in 1972 to select a series of very high quality wines, later renamed “Neil Empson Selections” and subsequently founded several brands owned by various Italian regions. Tuscany had always been one of their favorite realities, since for some time now they had been collaborating with their trusted winemaker and great friend, Franco Bernabei, the master of the Tuscan reds – aka “Mr. Sangiovese “. The combined passion and experience of Empson and Bernabei have led to splendid results in this “Super Tuscan” which embodies the harmony of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. All grapes from some of the best vineyards in the region in the Maremma, Colline Pisane, Colli Fiorentini and Chianti Classico areas. Unlike Monte Antico, the vines used for Supremus are more than 25 years old and produce small and highly concentrated crops of the highest quality.
