Gustinvest was established in 2009 as an offshoot of Empson & Co., a leading exporter in the world of Italian wine. It was founded to occupy a niche market for private label and value wines and even brand/special project wines.

With a team of experts – Empson & Co. owners Neil Empson (with over 40 years of experience specializing in the unique grapes of Italy) and his daughter Tara (who recently took over the reins after years of working by his side) and Luca Fumagalli (Empson & Co.’s Director of Finance and Administration) – whose experience in global exports spans decades, Gustinvest is able to offer carefully chosen regional selections, exclusive market representation, quick service, and marketing and logistics support.
